Leaps of Faith Into Success
Those taking theirs, and more tips for those who want to take theirs.

Happy weekend,
Last Saturday, we shared stories of Nigerians and immigrants building successful businesses abroad and in Nigeria. We also shared curated materials to help those seeking to build their own success anywhere in the world.
Today, we share more tips alongside two more stories of two Nigerians building great businesses.
The first is the story of the man behind the iconic calendar above that graced many homes in Nigeria a decade ago. The women were so stunning that a billboard that featured Sandra Okagbue in a Delta Soap advert was even rumoured to have been removed from the 3rd Mainland Bridge in Lagos because it was causing accidents. People kept starring instead of driving.
The story began in a chemist shop in Ikenegbu, Owerri in Imo State.
The second story is almost too typical for many teenage Nigerians. A young girl set out to become a medical doctor but by the time she graduated, her interests had shifted dramatically. The program was extremely difficult for her and she was unable to continue.
She pivoted to business and a decade later, would go on to build the largest dried fruit industry in Africa.
We wish you the best of the weekend.
